MOST COMMON INTERVIEW QUESTIONS #interviews #interviewtips2025 #jobinterview #interviewprep #story #storytelling #trending #interview #viral #fyp #sad
⬇️ Did you know that there are 5 types of interview questions? Standard, Behavioral, Personality, Brain Teaser and Technical.   Questions like: “Tell us about yourself” and “Walk us through your resume” are standard interview questions that interviewers usually ask at the beginning of an interview to get you to open up.   🧑🏽‍💻Standard interview questions are the most common and all about YOU therefore they are the easiest to practice.   When someone asks you, “Tell us about yourself” 🎯Follow this formula, PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE   1️⃣ Tell them a little bit about our past, why you majored in your major in college, what you did in your first jobs. 2️⃣ Then Present, tell them what you are currently doing. What qualifies you for this job. 3️⃣ Then lastly, talk to them about where you see yourself in the future. And spoiler alert, you should tell them that you see yourself at this company doing this job in the future.   🧠 For a full list of interview questions to prepare for get an Interviewology Profile to discover your interview style #howtoanswerinterviewquestions #jobinterivew #corporatejobs #interviewquestions #interviewtips #interviewprep #tellmeaboutyourself
⬇️ Hiring managers don’t waste their time interviewing people that they don’t think are qualified. 👩‍💻 If you have been scheduled for an interview, they want it to go well.    🤞They need to fill this position and they are hoping that you are the person for the job.    ❌ Interviewers DO NOT purposely ask hard questions so you will do poorly. ❌ Interviewers DO NOT put you on the spot to embarrass you.    ✅ Instead of thinking that an interview is a trap, and they are out to get you- shift your perspective.    📌Here’s a pre-interview mantra to practice ahead of your next job interview, “They would be lucky to have me. They want this interview to go well as much as I do.”    #jobinterview #interviewprep #interviewstips #careercoach #corporatejobs #jobsearch #interview #career

⬇️At the end of a job interview, when they ask you, “Do you have any questions for us?” Whatever you do, do NOT ask them these 10 questions 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for 3 Impressive Questions to Ask in any Job Interview 👈 👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for How to Answer What are your Strengths and Weaknesses👈 10-  “What does this company do?” You should’ve gone on the company’s website and figured that our before your job interview. 9- “When can I expect a raise or a promotion?” A raise and a promotion are for people that excel at their job, and we haven’t even hired you so how do we know if you’re going to do so well that you deserve a promotion? Pump your brakes. 8-  “Are there any other jobs open?” Ummmmm we haven’t hired you for this one yet. How about focusing on getting this job before you start shopping for jobs in our company. 7- “Are you going to check my references and do a background check?” only people that have something to hide would ask this and now they are going to be suspicious of you. 6-  “Can I work from home?” You’re probably asking this because they’ve already told you that this is an in person job. If you really want a remote job, apply to a remote job instead of trying to make an in person job remote. 5- “When can I start taking my PTO/Vacation time?” Only unambitious people would ask this question in a job interview. They are going to think that you’re only in it for the benefits, that you’re not really dedicated and they won’t pass you on to the next round of interviews, let alone make you an offer. 4- “Do you care about the dress code?” Nah. We don’t care about the policies and procedures that we created, we’ve just been waiting for someone who doesn’t work here to challenge us on them. 3- “What’s the worst thing about working here?” There are better ways to figure this out in the interview process. I wouldn’t waste my opportunity to ask them great questions on this one because they are going to give you a fake answer anyways. Instead ask them about next steps in the interview process. 2- “Well if this interview doesn’t work out, you wanna get a drink?” DO NOT ask your interviewer out. This is a job interview NOT a date. 1-    “Hypothetically if I were fired from my last job would that make a difference?” Absolutely it will. Why would you disclose this information? If they don’t ask you, don’t tell them. 📌And BONUS TIP, the worst question to ask in a job interview is “Are there any reasons why you wouldn’t want to hire me?” I would rather leave the job interview on a positive note NOT a negative one.    #jobinterview #interviewquestions #howtointerview #job #corproate #interviewtips #interviewprep

⬇️Don’t be afraid to ask “Why is the position open?”

At the end of a job interview they are going to say, “Do you have any questions for us?” and you should be prepared with impressive questions for them,

👉Watch this video @Anna Papalia for 3 impressive questions to ask at the end of a job interview👈

❌It’s NOT illegal to ask why the position is open
❌It’s NOT nosey.
❌It’s not a secret.

👩🏾‍💻Asking why the position is open gives you a lot of great information.

✅Perhaps the position is new because the company is doing so well.

✅Perhaps the person who worked in the role got promoted and you can ask them what that person did so well to be promoted.

✅Perhaps they moved on to a new company and you get the feeling that it wasn’t a good fit, this allows you to ask questions about what they are looking for now.

🎯No matter what their answer you will get great insight into who this company is, how they manage and if you want to work there.

This is the perfect way to answer the interview question: “How do you prioritize tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment?” Answer: “In a fast-paced environment, I focus on staying organized and tackling the most important tasks first. I usually start by looking at deadlines and figuring out which projects have the biggest impact or need immediate attention. From there, I’ll break everything into manageable steps and use tools like task lists or project trackers to keep myself on top of things.” #interviewprep #interviewhelp #jobinterviewtips #projectmanagement #projectmanager #pmp
🚨4 Skills Recruiters do NOT want to see on your Resume🚨 ❌ 1-   Take off “Conversational in Spanish” or any language that you’re not fluent in for that matter. No one is hiring you because you are a beginner in Portuguese. NO. ONE. ❌ 2-   Soft skills like; “good communicator” or “problem solver” do not need to be on your resume. That’s what the job interview is for. In the interview you SHOW your soft skills you don’t put them on a resume. ❌ 3-   Take Microsoft Word and Outlook off your resume right now! Basic computer skills are a basic requirement that should not be highlighted on your resume. ❌ 4-   A resume is a legal document, not a place for you to show your personality and be different. NO! It’s a highlight reel of your accomplishments and a list of your technical qualifications. So, why then would you ever put under the skills section that you are an “avid scotch drinker” INSTEAD ✅ 1-   Only skills that are relevant to the jobs that you are applying ✅2-   Skills should be specific NOT vague. Do not put Microsoft Word or Excel instead put a software that you have worked with that is industry specific. ✅ 3-   Don’t lie.
