Worst text of 2024? We’ve gotten some really bad ones but this has got to be one of the most memorable my team received this year. We have gotten some great feedback from clients, we’ve also been called oompa loompa’s. You can’t win ‘em all. We are recapping 2024 on this week’s episode of Laricy Live. As a leader, when my staff gets positive feedback that is the greatest compliment I can get as a boss. When your staff wants to work hard, be the best at their job, and takes pride in their work - that's a reflection of your leadership. My staff works incredibly hard. I see it everyday and know that I couldn't be in the position I'm in without them. I love hearing that our clients see it too. We are recapping 2024 on episode #170 of Laricy Live. 2024 was a great year for us solely because of our clients and the people who have supported us. The only reason I got to where I am today is because people were willing to take a chance on me. Any ounce of success I have today I owe to them. When we look back at this year, my team and I have nothing but gratitude for our those people. We are recapping 2024 on episode #170 of Laricy Live. I'm going into my 20th year and as I started to think about 2025, I could either coast, and be happy where I'm at, or we can grow... and I'm not really a coaster. It only makes sense to grow with our clients, and that means going where they go, and where they will need us next. So in 2025, we are opening our Hinsdale office, and we plan to come in with a bang. #LaricyLive #Laricy #RealEstatePodcast #2025goals #hinsdale #letsgo
Mark my words, West Loop is coming back this year. The West Loop had one of the biggest falls from grace during the pandemic, it went from being called the best place to live to the worst in the blink of an eye. Common sense has gotten me far in life, and it's telling me, it's time for a West Loop come back. I'm feeling 2025 is Chicago's West Loop's year. It’s a controversial subject, but I think people should be back in office. Not every job, not always 5 days a week, but it would have the most positive impact in bringing back Chicago’s downtown, and it would help a lot of cities rise from the ashes. From personal experience, I know everyone we’ve hired that worked from home, their productivity was horrible. I know I’ve taken more buyers out in the past few years from the hours of 11am-3pm then I ever have, and it’s a joke from them every time: “I’m working, but I’m not really working”. I know my friends that work from home are constantly distracted by laundry, the dog, that last episode on the netflix show they are binging. I’m not saying it’s all bad for every job, but I know productivity in a lot of positions is down, and I personally think people benefit form an office setting at least part time. (forever full time on the Laricy team). Most importantly, the impact going back to the office would have on the city is undeniable! Drive down State st. in Chicago... it’s depressing, and it has been. Vacancy after vacancy. If even half the city goes back to the office part time, restaurants would be able to open, mom and pop shops would be able to come back, the city would be alive again. We need it.
