True peace comes from trusting God 🤍 I used to be someone who constantly questioned God, asking Him “why” things happened the way they did. Why didn’t that job opportunity work out? Why did I get rejected from my dream school? Why didn’t that relationship work out? I questioned Him out of my own disappointment instead of trusting that whatever door He closed, that He would open a better one for me. You see, there is a shift in our heart posture when we start seeking His heart instead of seeking clarity or answers from Him. We’re able to show God that we believe that He has a good plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11) and that as we seek Him, everything else will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). Your life is in His hands; He is a good Father who will take care of you, provide for you, and love you unconditionally. He wants us to stop worrying about the outcome and how things are going to work out and start praying FROM victory, not for victory. And I almost hate ending this caption this way, but let go and let God. I’m the person who rolls their eyes at cheesy Christian sayings like this that don’t seem to help in the middle of the storm. But I’m including this here because letting go is another way we can rest in God’s peace and His promises as we surrender our lives and our problems to Him. Let go of your need for answers/clarity, let go of your need to know the outcome, let go of the past you so desperately want to hold onto. Release all of it to God, and rest knowing that God is taking care of it all, and you will be okay 🤍
