MEAL PREP TO START THE YEAR RIGHT!!! 💪🏼🍱🕺🏻 🙂‍↕️ Here’s everything I cooked -                                 (I kinda went into this w not a real plan fyi)                                                       1.  I cooked ground steak and added cauliflower rice in w it to give it a little more volume. I also added cilantro to it hehe. One protein to add to any meal that’s now ready 🤝🏼.                                                           2. I baked some sweet potatoes, a BOMB side and carb to have on hand. Also topped w cottage cheese 👌🏼 so mf good.                                                                                                                 3. I airfried some chicken breast, that’s my second protein that’s ready for the week.                                                4. Then I cooked some califlour rice that has kale and sweet potatoes in it, added some cherry and sundried tomato’s in there and added egg whites and two eggs. Just a super easy thing for me to just grab and eat that has veggies, carbs, and protein that’s last me while idk.                                                                 5. Baked some asparagus, zucchini, and carrots, some great side for your protein.                                                        6. Sautéed some onions and bell peppers, great for fajitas or honestly anything.                                                      7. I washed my fruits by soaking them in water and adding salt for 5 minutes then rinsing them, drying them and wrapping them with paper towels to keep any moisture out. That way they’re ready to eat and also last wayyy longer in the fridge.                                                                                                                                           .                                                                                                                                        I just did some things to make my week easier and I can still feel like I’m eating something different everyday and not get bored of the same thing. Oct 9th 2024 I walked into @ultimateperformancela anxious, excited, slightly skeptical but mostly hopeful that I’d be able to achieve my dream fitness & nutrition goals. I’ve always stayed in good shape, my livelihood requires it but since covid I’ve felt myself slipping further and further away from the body I’ve always worked so hard to maintain. I realized over the years that my eating habits where directly tied to my emotional state. On days that I found myself not in the best of spirts @coldstone became my “happy place”. Living in NY, traveling for work, in and out of hotels and airports nutrition took a back seat and my meals became about convenience & comfort.  Training at @ultimateperformancela over the past 12 weeks has taught me how to create healthy eating habits that are sustainable for a life on the go. Tracking my macros daily and knowing that they were being monitored by my trainers kept me accountable.  @train_with_vince & #MohandBoudifa designed workouts that were intentional, intense, and impactful, always pushing me to my limits—even when my Taurus stubbornness pushed back! 🤷🏾‍♂️😊 Thank you guys for being amazing trainers and incredible humans!  At 38, I feel like the best version of myself—mind, body, and soul. Thank you, @ricky_jaime, for the referral, and huge thanks to the @ultimateperformancela team for transforming my approach to fitness and nutrition. I started this journey weighing in at 188lbs & 31.8% body fat. Today I weigh 165lbs and 12% body fat.
