Comment "HIDDEN GEM" for the exact directions to this spot Definitely one to add to your Southwest road trip bucket list 🤯 This hike is such a HIDDEN GEM that it’s not even on All Trails yet 💎 You also won’t find it on Google Maps or Apple Maps 🚫🗺️ It’s called Long Dong Silver Spire (at least that appears to be the official name for now) and it’s quite difficult to find the first time you go 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏽♀️ The hike itself is pretty flat and only about 2 miles round trip 🥾 It’s located in Hanksville, Utah📍 You will find it just off of Highway 95 just south of the town of Hanksville. If you’re heading south from Hanksville towards Capitol Reef it will be on your right hand side. Even knowing all of this you would still likely never find it as there’s zero signs and it can’t be seen from the road 🚐 Once you’ve been before it’s super easy to get to. There’s just not a whole lot of directions out there just yet. We will go ahead and and tell you where it is but if you’d like more specific directions on how to find it then comment below saying “Hidden Gem” and we will send you directions 👇🏼 Be sure to LEAVE NO TRACE when visiting.
