50 days till I move back to Los Angeles! 🌴 But I’ve got a question: How are people affording housing in LA?! 🤔 Let’s do the math: Minimum wage is around $17/hour, so if you work full-time, that’s about $2,800/month. Landlords usually require you to make 2.5-3x the rent, which means you’d qualify for an apartment that costs $900/month. But… is there anywhere in LA renting for $900?! Seriously, it doesn’t seem possible. If you’re living in LA, how do you make it work? Are you sharing with roommates, working multiple jobs, or living in some secret affordable pocket of the city? Let me know in the comments—I’m genuinely curious! 🏠✨
