Empty Nester’s Day in the Life Part 2. If you missed part 1, go watch the first part of my day. This is a Saturday when my husband was working a 12 hr shift. It’s a great example of what a typical day is for me. The key to being healthy and fit in your 50s correlates directly to your level of activity, so I stay busy and fill my day with tons of movement. And although I am much more aware of my macros these days, I rarely track them. I make sure to fuel my body adequately and aim for 8 hours of sleep every night.
