My transformation doesn’t seem like anything major but there’s actually a difference of 10-15lbs here and an entirely different headspace. I was so laser focused on building muscle and gaining weight but then it got to a point where I felt like so uncomfortable in my own body. I felt so puffy all the time and kind of like a balloon. I felt so slow and unathletic if it didn’t involve lifting a weight. It just got to be too much for me and I realized I had been chasing a bigger body purely out of insecurity, not necessarily because I felt better. I was trying to become curvier because I didn’t feel like a lean athletic body was considered feminine (crazy I know and also so not true if you’re reading and feel the same🫂) I feel more like myself now. I feel more well rounded, balanced, athletic. I honestly feel healthier and just “lighter” metaphorically. And I honestly feel the most womanly I ever have. I’m really not saying either is unhealthy or looks bad at all. These are just two different versions of me with two different goals🩷 So how did I get here? - I prioritized my hormonal health by eating more nourishing foods, minimizing things that come in a package, stress management, sleep, slowing down, and so much more - Eating less - Walking more - Subbing out HIIT for low impact - Speaking more kindly to myself - Loving and accepting myself no matter my body I have a YouTube vlog posted that goes over 3 painfully simple things I did to drop 12lbs if you’re interesting in going deeper and wanting some advice 🪽🪽 @ LIVFIIT !!
