We are highly uneducated on the link between preventing systemic and inflammatory disease and the importance of restorative sleep. Left unmanaged can create havoc for our respiratory system, immune system and our overall wellbeing  ⭐️Using air purifiers- keeping the air we breathe clean , lessening our histamine response  ⭐️avoiding common inflammatory foods if someone is having issues with congestion  ⭐️for children - limiting what sleeps on the bed - stuffies, cats, hamsters. Especially if there are concerns with congestion and sleep quality  ⭐️Movement and nasal breathing- this helps our bodies learn to breathe less against resistance which is the opposite with sleep breathing disorders  ⭐️creating a safe place and having safe tools to help regulate our emotions and sensory systems to make going to be and staying asleep a lot easier for all ⭐️knowing about all and other barriers that can impede quality and restorative sleep and how to manage as they come up (if they do) We provide myofunctional therapy to help with breathing and sleep- but it is never JUST myofunctional therapy!
