In life we never got the opportunity to ride together but I’m honored to have performed your last ride and last rev on that beautiful machine of yours brother. 🕊️🏍️ “last ride” is often used in a symbolic way to signify the end of someone’s life, particularly if they are a dedicated biker who has spent a significant part of their life riding motorcycles; it can also be used to describe a farewell ride for a biker who is leaving the community. When used in reference to a deceased biker, “last ride” is often spoken with respect and can be part of a memorial ceremony. “Last Rev” The revving of the engine is not just noise, but a meaningful and symbolic gesture to honor the rider, representing their love for riding, the freedom it brought them, and to say a final farewell by “sending them off” with the sound of their engine one last time; it’s considered a way to acknowledge their passion for motorcycles. My sister jokingly held me responsible when Charles got back on 2s but we all know too well what having the bug is like, you never truly stop being a biker. Charles committed his life to his family and dedicated his time to the people and things he loved most. He was a God Fearing man with a heart of gold and for the few days I spent with my sister and her kids I could feel the weight of his absence. If you are the praying type please pray for my sister and her kids as they navigate this loss. If you would like to donate or see how you can help out check the link in my bio. #nctotx
