If negative thoughts persist, I would like to offer some help to begin making headway in dissolving that negative inner narrative. None of these negative thoughts were ever yours to begin with. These mechanisms of negative framing, lodged in your mind and body, didn’t originate with you, no matter how much they may feel like they are part of you. They were adopted from those around you, whether from parents, teachers, friends, or societal conditioning. When you notice a negatively framed thought like, “I should have done better,” or “I never do anything right,” pause and remind yourself: “This isn’t even my thought.” Recognize it for what it is, a conditioned belief, and reframe it. For example, instead of thinking, “I should have done this differently,” you can say, “Yes, this didn’t go the way I wanted, but that’s okay. I can learn and grow from it, and next time, I’ll be better equipped.” This process may feel slow or even bring resistance, but over time, the consistent practice of reframing will soften the negative narrative and help liberate your mind and body. It’s also worth noting that foundational practices, like mindful mornings and evenings free from screens, can support your inner narrative and neuroplasticity, helping you experience results faster. If you’d like to dive deeper into this work, I have a guide that shares the 7 core principles that have been the foundation for so many transformations. These steps are simple, actionable, and can be implemented at your own pace. Msg me “peace” on IG or through email, and I’ll send it to you as soon as I see your message. You are worth the transformation you desire. 🙏
