Stitch with @Kylie Perkins In this video I say “messy” a lot. Mainly because these “messy” houses are being labled as such online when that is not the correct term. I am talking about filthy houses I am addressing filthy homes. Search “messy house” or “normalize messy homes” here on tiktok and you’ll see what I’m taking about. Messy = lived in. Toys about. Cups in the sink. A pile or two of laundry that needs to be folded THIS IS NORMAL FROM TIME TO TIME Dirty: Floors are visibly dirty and need vacuuming and mopping. Grime/sticky substances on surfaces. Thick layers of dust. Filthy: all of the above plus garbage, unwashed surfaces, piles of garbage/loose papers and debris, animal waste, ect This might be the most hard hitting video I have ever made. And I 100% know people are going to be mad, but I don’t mess around with Hygiene. Hygiene is the foundation for a physically and mentally healthy society. Civilizations, cities, and populations have fallen because of hygenic errors. If you find yourself struggling with the hygenic upkeep of your home I IMPLORE YOU to ask for help. Please. It’s not normal. It’s not ok. You should not feel shame, but you should not live like this. I’m hitting hard with this video because I want people to see the seriousness of it. We as parents are raising the next generation, and yeah life sucks, life is hard, we have our challenges, but why would we ever want to add burdens to our children? • •
