Let’s try chạo tôm at Trader Joe’s! These are a new frozen food item that I spotted at my local Trader Joe’s. They are a Vietnamese appetizer/snack with fried shrimp and vegetables, skewered with a sugarcane stalk. To crisp these up, you can use either a conventional oven or an air fryer (recommended). I air fried mine at 400F for 9 minutes. They were nice and crispy and the filling was flavorful. A nice dipping sauce like a nuoc mam would go perfect with these. Let’s try soup dumplings at @Costco Wholesale! I picked up these xiao long bao at Costco and noticed they were from the same brand I buy at @H Mart. These pork soup dumplings are made by @Synear Foods USA 思念食品, and there were about 50 in a bag. To prepare these soup dumplings, you can pan fry or steam them. I chose to use my bamboo steamer for about 12 minutes. Just like the soup dumplings I buy at the Asian grocery store, they were juicy!
