If thereā€™s one thing Iā€™m trying to do different here is show up more authentically with my IDGAF energy. Itā€™s not that I havenā€™t been but Iā€™ve held back because of something that happened on social media in 2023. Story time šŸ‘‡šŸ¼ I made an incredibly vulnerable post about how hard parenting is (especially my daughter). At first it was all support but then it hit the wrong crowd got reposted by a meme account and I received death threats towards my kids and awful disgusting google reviews. Thankfully I hit all them removed but one. Mind you at the time my home address was public on google for my Pilates studio šŸ˜±  This sent me into a panic attack and really was the start to my anxiety at the end of 2023 into early 2024. I almost quit in June this yearā€¦. That same month I put out one video on YouTube that took off. At the same time I made the decision to step back from creating new challenges and filming new workouts (I havenā€™t filmed a new workout since May) but instead repurpose all my old workouts from my App and focusing on my blog. That one video/blog had nothing to do with Pilates. It was my review on the @CAKES Body nipple covers. That video monetized my YouTube channel and earned me over $6k in affiliate marketing revenue. I now have 3 writers for my blog and we reached 3.2 MILLION people in 2024!  If youā€™re thinking about quitting: 1ļøāƒ£Remember why you started and how far youā€™ve come. 2ļøāƒ£Assess what you can step back from without quitting to focus on something else that will fill your cup while still helping you reach your goal. 3ļøāƒ£Ask for help! I have 3 independent contractors and 3 writers. I donā€™t do it all. I simply canā€™t. I might actually have a torn labrum in my hip not a strainā€¦ anyone ever dealt with this type of injury or had surgery to repair it? Itā€™s been 6 weeks and itā€™s not feeling any different so upper body back and arms it is!
