This is a ridiculously fascinating process! Have you ever tried to presprout ranunculus? 🌸 There are different ways to presprout and grow ranunculus. This is my fav way and it’s always worked for me so I just keep doing it! Start your ranunculus about 8-10 weeks before your last frost! You can see this process in more details in my Instagram highlights in my profile. If you are looking for corms, check out Sunny Meadows Flower Farm. I’ve never ordered from them but they seem to be the cutest little family farm - the kind we all love to support. If you order from them, let me know how it goes! #ranunculus #ranunculusflowers #corms #growingflowers #beginnergardener #plantingflowers #gardeningtherapy #wintertherapy #springflowers #happiness

I will be starting the ranunculus in a few days in my garage so stay posted in stories for all the details!! 💕 Who’s starting them with me? Let’s hope they’re blooming by late April!! 🙏 If you want to start a cottage flower garden, follow along and we’ll do it together. 🥰 I’ll show you how I’m going to design it, prep the soil, which flowers I’m planting, how to prevent the weeds, and how to care for it all year! 🌼 Are you in? 🫶 This fall all my kids came over and we decided to have some fun and plant 1000 tulips in a predetermined shape. We’ll see if they all bloom and if you can tell what shape it is! Haha! Look for that in May maybe! 🌷 🌷🌷 I have always tilled every garden I’ve ever had but I’m testing the no-till method this year. Watch for that reel next week! Then we’ll watch to see if we can plant in it this spring. 😄 Are you a fan of no-till gardening? My dad and I are planting the wildflower 🌸 field on my hillside again this spring. I’m hoping for more rain so that it will work this year like it did 2 years ago! I enjoy it all summer into fall and will share it all regardless of the outcome, but hoping for the best. 🙌 The mandevilla vine on my garage door failed me last year!!! I’m determined to make it work this year so stick around for it. I want to see you guys trying it too so we can share the fun! 🌺 Every week starting in February I’ll be giving a highlight of one of my fav flowers you can plant in your cottage garden. Always add questions you have in the captions or any extra info and we can all learn from each other. Have you tried a garden auger yet? 🌸 It’s a game-changer! @Power_PlanterUSA has the best garden augers on the market. They are a third generation family-owned business based in rural Illinois. The high-quality augers are hand-welded with American steel. I’m proud to say I’ve been working with them for almost a year, but I’ve been using their augers longer than that. Their customer service is second to none so you can be sure you are not only receiving a lifetime tool but you also have access to the knowledge on how to use it safely and effectively. Power Planter augers make digging the hole the easy part! Do you have regrets? 💔 I’ve found the only thing to do with regrets is apologize when possible and move forward, determined to never make the same mistake again. If we use our mistakes and regrets as teachers, we become better people. Better people make good parents and friends and leaders and create amazing communities. As a follower of Jesus, forgiveness is a gift offered to the taker and kingdom living - where we spend ourselves, pour ourselves out, helping others in His name - is where we truly find happiness. Often in my busyness and self-absorption, I forget, but this year I want to remember. We can’t help everyone…but we can all help someone. Don’t you agree?
