This is your reminder that haircuts are also a form of gender-affirming care… one that Trump can’t take away from you. I’m lucky enough to work with an amazing hairdresser, who’s not only one of my best friends but is also part of the queer community. Getting my hair cut almost always helps me whenever I’m feeling dysphoric. But beyond the haircut itself, having a safe space to get it done makes even more of a difference. Finding a hairdresser who listens to you and helps you feel your best in your gender is SO important… and we all deserve that. So in response to the recent orders targeting gender affirming care, @paige_lizzz is looking to offer free affirming haircuts for queer youth in need. If you’re interested, let us know below!
