Just an update- watching the fires around me, packed and ready to go with all of the animals in tow. I took a moment to check out a shelter in the area and i’m just so thrilled to see that The Red Cross is now accepting animals and their humans together in their shelters!! If you, like so many others and those in my life that have had to flee their homes and memories, my whole heart is with you as we in Los Angeles band together. It’s an indescribable feeling on one hand, the looming anxiety and on the other, the incredible generosity I’ve seen over and over again. If you’d like to help out, donations are of course sorely needed. Go to @Pasadena Humane, @Red Cross and ASPCA! We have evacuated to San Diego so we are safe and sound now but my heart is breaking.
