š Seeding for our indoor aeroponic system is simple! We start by soaking rockwool in pH-balanced water. Once soaked, we drop 1 to 2 seeds into each hole, cover the tray with a lid, and place it on a dark shelf. ā³ļø From there, itās a waiting game while the seeds germinate. If the rockwool starts to dry out, we give it a quick water to keep it hydrated. š± For most crops, tiny sprouts appear after a few days. Once they peek above the rockwool, we carefully transfer them to a separate tray. This is when we introduce fertilizer for the first time and place them under light! If the light isnāt strong enough, we raise the tray to bring them closer. We also water 1-2 times daily with the fertilizer mixā(the same mix used in the system, separate how-to video on our page). After 1-2 weeks of light and feeding, theyāll be ready for the aeroponic system! We judge readiness by stem height. š±š§ We place each plant into a 2-inch net cup, then gently secure the stem with a plug (trimming the hole if needed for a better fit). The plug stabilizes the plant and helps keep the lid dry from misting. š„³ Finally, the plants go into the aeroponic system, where their roots are misted with nutrient-rich water. Over time, theyāll grow stronger, develop larger roots, and thrive in their new environment. And thatās how we plant in our DIY aeroponic system! āØļøāØļø
