shortgutsyndrome hashtag performance

#ShortGutSyndrome highlights a condition where individuals experience malabsorption due to shortened intestines, often resulting from surgery or congenital issues, leading to nutritional deficiencies, chronic diarrhea, and lifestyle adjustments.
I get asked alot “how many months is he, omg hes so tiny, what happen to him, what caused his intestines to die, 7 months in the NICU how did you feel” i always answer the questions because were all human & were all curious. Hes doing much better he has an occupational therapist & speech/feeding therapist. He sees his gastroenterologist GI doctor. But so far everything is good. Im so proud of him. 😭❤️ #fyp #nicumom #shortgutsyndrome #shortbowelsyndrome #intestinalfailure #thearpy
So if you see my daughter holding my son in public, sometimes struggling to carry him… it’s because she doesn’t want to let him go. I tell her “GIVE HIM TO ME” she says “no I got him”. Whether she’s pushing him in his stroller, carrying his car seat or just holding him in her arms. Trust me when I say, I know for a fact she won’t drop him. She was never a church girl or never knew anything about our lord, god, Jesus Christ or anything about the Bible. Till my son. It was “mom let’s go to church & pray for Elijah to come home, mom let’s go throw a coin at the wheel at church & make a wish that Elijah comes home, let’s go light a candle”. That’s her brother & she loves him so much. She calls him her “goo goo baby” that’s her other half. 🥹❤️ Yes I get scared too. I always have dreams that if I feed him to much he’ll bloat & his intestines will start failing again. I wake up in the middle of the night to check him. It’s a scary feeling. If you don’t know then don’t judge before knowing the facts. Sometimes you see kids carrying their smaller siblings in public & probably think “dam that mom needs to carry her own baby & not let the kids do it” there’s time where I see that & the kids look miserable. But not Kylie she’s all smiles & is proud to show off her brother. #fyp #brothersister #shortgutsyndrome #shortbowelsyndrome #nicubaby #nicumom #nicusister
