I wish the Imagineers would turn that second story of the Jungle Cruise in Magic Kingdom into a tiki bar or something like Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland… I would live there 😭 The characters that were NOT repurposed from Snow White’s Scary Adventures (aka made new for the attraction) are Snow White, Dopey, and Sneezy. The Imagineers had to put the repurposed characters farther away from you in the cottage and the also put the vultures way up high because they’re not the right scale for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. By making them farther away, they use forced perspective to make them look like they’re the right size. I *think* that band featured in front of the Aristocats shop (where Sir Mickey’s is now) is the polka band that used to play in Fantasyland, but if anyone else has information about them, it seems to be hard to track down (possibly only played for a few years in the 70s is my best guess). And last but not least, the punching gorilla was part of the phase 2 jungle Cruise budget, which disappeared when Disney realized they had to build Pirates of the Caribbean to the Magic Kingdom (because people were saying “don’t go to Walt Disney World, they don’t have pirates there”).
