spinningbabies hashtag performance

#SpinningBabies promotes techniques for optimal fetal positioning during pregnancy and labor. It emphasizes movements, exercises, and prenatal practices to encourage healthy births, prevent complications, and enhance maternal well-being. Community support included.
I love to help my FTM mamas move around and try creative positions to get the baby down and out. That path has to be paved, so to speak. Tug of War is my fave go-to!! With tug of war, there is no holding the breath or pushing. It is simply tugging the “rope,” but the muscles you need to use are fully engaged without much thought. PS LNM Birth classes are open for enrollment, including virtual labor support with a labor nurse and 2 doulas!!! Learn more..link in bio! Replying to @Brit 🫶 Part 2 of Turning this baby girl 🥰 Steps I did: 1. Set a strong foundation from the start with pelvic & ribcage mobility warm-ups before workouts. These exercises are already integrated into my pregnancy programs! 2. Made regular visits to a prenatal massage/structural specialist throughout my pregnancy to help maintain proper alignment as baby has grown. 3. When I discovered she was still head up around 28 weeks, I began doing more daily inversions (spinning babies) and increased mobilization work for my ribcage and pelvis. These exercises are excellent for pain management and helping baby move into LOA (Left Occiput Anterior), which is the optimal position for birth. They're valuable to continue even after baby turns head down. She flipped after I did a 2-minute dead hang. While hanging isn't possible for everyone, many other exercises can accomplish the same goal! The key to success with all these ribcage mobility exercises is proper diaphragmatic breathing. Focus on achieving a full 360-degree expansion, especially directing your breath into the side being mobilized. Other options to consider: 1. Bodywork support: Chiropractors & massage therapists can help create space in your pelvis & ribcage. I would have seen my massage therapist at 34 weeks if baby hadn't turned. She successfully turned Siah for me! 2. Homeopathic care 3. ECV (External Cephalic Version) 4. Home birth: If this aligns with your preferences, find a confident and knowledgeable provider experienced in breech delivery. Remember, if baby isn't turning, it often indicates there's still some restriction preventing the flip. Finding someone to help can ease both physical constraints and your peace of mind! 🫶🏽 #breechbaby #breechbirth #spinningbabies #pregnant #pregnantlife #pregnanttiktok #pregnancytiktok #pregnancyjourney #pregnantlife #pregnantbelly #fitpregnancy #laboranddelivery

Sometimes a patient comes in and it is unclear, and other times it is pretty dang obvious. 🤰🏼Did you know Calm Labor Confident Birth Class and The VBAC Lab Birth Class are open for students, and you can Save $100? Shoot me a DM for info ⭐️⭐️ ⚡️ What happens when it breaks? For many women, their water will not break until later in active labor. However, some of you may experience your water breaking at home or somewhere else less convenient!) Sometimes, it is a slow trickle, sometimes a tiny gush every time you contract or move. But it might just EXPLODE for some of the lucky mamas out there. This happened to me with Gavin. Luckily I was in the hospital. I was sitting in a chair, and afterward, the chair looked like it was sitting in a pond. ⚡️ How do you know for sure it broke (and it’s not pee)? This isn’t always easy. I tell my students and patients (who call in) to do a heavy cough. For many, this will cause the fluid to come out. (Make sure you have on a pad!) If you are not sure, call your provider. We can do some tests to determine. ⚡️ Does this mean labor is starting? Technically (unless you are preterm), this means the baby will be coming. However, sometimes it can be HOURS before your labor contractions start. If you have no high-risk diagnoses, are GBS neg, (GBS pos can wait some unless you are opting out of treatment then that’s diff) and are healthy, you can wait at home for labor to start (up to 6-8 hours, you may need help after that). ⚡️ Does it always break on its own? Technically, it can and will before the baby comes out, or the baby can come out in it. But....not many providers wait. They like to break your water early in labor (Not a fan 🛑). This is called AROM (artificial rupture of membranes) Thank you for attending my Ted talk about your water. . . . . #readytopop #givingbirth #waterbreak #goingintolabor #laboranddelivery #babycomingsoon #babycoming #30weeks #30weekspregnant #31weeks #31weekspregnant #bellybump #birth #whattoexpect #spinningbabies #reels #igreels #labornursemama

Follow for evidence-based empowering pregnancy, birth, and postpartum education. Why are gravity-assisted positions so crucial? Get ready for some surprising facts. Did you know that changing your position during labor can open up your pelvis by 28-30%? That could mean avoiding a cesarean. + Being upright during contractions can make them stronger and shorten labor. + Less pain, fewer interventions, and a lower risk of a cesarean. You can take charge of your childbirth experience. Comment if you were told they had to stay on your back. #30weeks #30weekspregnant #31weeks #31weekspregnant #bellybump #birth #whattoexpect #spinningbabies #pregnancyhealth #labornursemama

INVERSIONS like this forward leaning inversion can help babies positioning, stretch your uterine ligaments, and offer some pain relief for your round ligament, low back, and groin pain! Check with your doctor, make sure you have a spotter, and happy baby spinning 🫶🏻 #spinningbabies #thirdtrimester #pregnancy
Did you know that during pregnancy, a small number of your baby’s cells can circulate through your body and take up residence in your organs? This phenomenon is known as microchimerism and can have lasting effects on your health. This makes my heart so happy as I have lost 3 babies. But they are with me! Knowing about microchimerism can be empowering for new mamas as they navigate the changes in their bodies during and after pregnancy. Comment and share your feelings about this topic👇🏼 #30weeks #30weekspregnant #31weeks #31weekspregnant #bellybump #birth #whattoexpect #spinningbabies #pregnancyhealth #microchimerism
Lets talk about birth boundaries! When I would admit a patient, I would give them a code word to use that signals me to clear the room. Like, Hey Trish, Do you have Coconut Popsicles? So if she wants me to be security...she can call for me and ask whoever answers the call light to tell me she is wondering if we have coconut popsicles! Gametime! Not wanting a particular person or people in your birth is not the most popular topic for pregnant mamas because it’s hard to say no to family. I know, but it’s important to think hard about who you allow into your labor and delivery room. 💗 💗 Hi, I’m Trish, if you want virtual support, community, and powerful childbirth education, join my online birth class Calm Labor Confident Birth💗 💗 Your birth room needs to be a calm and peaceful environment for the labor hormones to flow and for labor to progress. #laboranddeliverynurse #pregnant #30weeks #30weekspregnant #31weeks #31weekspregnant #bellybump #birth #whattoexpect #spinningbabies #labornursemama #toxicfamily #birthboundaries
At the end of pregnancy, everyone will drive you INSANE, wondering if you are in labor or have had the baby yet. We teach our online birth class students not to give out their actual due date but to give their 42-week date. This will alleviate a lot of the bother. The waiting game is real, though. It is ok to set boundaries if people are annoying you. How about having your partner be the liaison and keep everyone updated through a group text or Whatsapp? What did you do to keep from losing your mind and to enjoy the end of your pregnancy? #30weeks #30weekspregnant #31weeks #31weekspregnant #bellybump #birth #whattoexpect #spinningbabies #pregnancyhealth
