Replying to @Louann H 🍓Strawberry Cheong Ingredients: Fresh strawberries Sugar (equal weight to strawberries) Steps: Wash strawberries. Let dry completely or dry with a clean towel. Remove the stems and cut the strawberries into halves or quarters. Weigh the strawberries, then measure an equal weight of sugar. ( Ratio for Strawberries : Sugar = 1 : 1 . I’m using about 14 oz. of strawberries and 14 oz. sugar in this video.) In a clean glass jar, layer the strawberries and sugar. Finish with a thick layer of sugar on top. Close the lid and keep in the fridge for 7 days. Strawberries will float to the top. Gently press down daily to allow sugar fully penetrate strawberries. After 7 days, strain the syrup and store in the fridge for 1 - 2 months. Enjoy!🍓 #cheong #syrup #strawberry #strawberries #strawberrysyrup #EasyRecipes #strawberrylover #koreandessert #koreanfood #kdramalover
