Muscle > frailty. My body is changing.I weigh the same as I have for the last 5-7 years last I checked. But, I don’t really look at the number on the scale anymore. I do pay attention to how my clothes fit. I do pay attention to how much energy I have, how I can contribute to moving furniture around my house, carrying three loads of laundry up two flights of stairs, being able to hold my granddaughter for long periods of time…. Those are the things I pay attention to now.    I’m working on getting stronger. Other than upper body work, squats like this is all new to me.    Long cardio workouts are out.  I walk at a swift pace for 20 minutes (many times with a weighted vest and incline)  Then 20 minutes of weights. This is what works for me right now. I use workouts from different trainers from the health and wellness space. If you can’t find a workout then begin with @physicalkitchness or follow @coachtaragarrison or @movedailyfitness .
