Clïmate change impacts us all. We all share the planet and it’s our home. So why don’t we think about protecting it every day? 🤔 I recently attended @tedcountdown a @ted initiative and it could be that little was known about clïmate change as people were growing up.🌎 Boomers generation were raised to focus on survival post w@r and the rësearch about the ënvironment had only just begun. Information was not widely available 👵🏾 Gen X were räised in an age when rëcycling had just started and this took time to catch on. They were mötivated at the time to focus on materialistic things because that was the theme in their pop cúlture at that time.💸 Millenials were raised in the age of information as they were the first to have access to internet and the conversation around mental health was abundant. People were encouraged to enter careers in ënvironmental scïences because rësearch and development in the field was booming and cömpanies were held accöuntable to be respônsible with regards to wäste and pöllution🛜 👨🏽‍💻 Gen Z are digital natives born with social media and constant access to information and communication. They learned about clïmate and rècycling in school and have access to how the ënvironmental decline impacts humans and animals. They are intentional about their actions and care about their communities who they connect with regularly on social media. 🤳 *the experiences depicted do not represent all experiences of individuals depicted in the generations above* Data from Pew Resëarch 📊📉 #climatecrisis #climatechangeawareness #climatechangeisreal #tiktokpartner #creatorsearchinsights #sustainableagriculture @TED Talks
