Allah says: "And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:186) “Dua is personal. No one—NO ONE—knows your struggles, your pain, or your heart like you do. So why leave it to others? The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered.’ (Sahih Muslim 2733) Yes, we can pray for each other, but that doesn’t mean we should stop making dua for ourselves. When your iman is low, that’s when you need to push yourself more—not rely on others. And listen, the only person who should be making dua for you instead of you? Your mother—if she’s still alive and a believer. Otherwise, sis, raise your hands and call on Allah yourself. 🌸 Allah’s Mercy Is Always Open: Allah says: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.’" (Surah Az-Zumar 39:53) "Next time you feel like saying ‘Someone make dua for me’—pause. Make it yourself first. Allah is waiting for YOU. Just raise your hands. You got this, sis.”
