I am making a series of the process I learned from raw print to final helmet product. This is a Hunter helmet from the Bad Batch designed by Jace1969 available for free on thingiverse. I started with a raw print off my @Elegoo 3D Official Neptune Max 3 at 50 percent speed since I am short on filament and I hate wasting filament on failure I slow everything down. I used modeling paste medium acrylic instead of bondo because it is non toxic. Add some paste and mix alittle bit of water and stir til it is foaming and apply a thin layer to begin and hit big spots with additional layers. It takes a few hours to overnight to dry out. Once that is done you have to sand it down and add a few layers of filler primer. I will go over that in the next part.
