God isn’t in a hurry, but let’s be real—we sure are. We rush through life, stressing over everything that isn’t happening as quickly as we want it to. We set deadlines for ourselves: I should have this job by now. I should be in a relationship by now. I should be further along. Sound familiar? We put so much pressure on ourselves to meet timelines that God never gave us in the first place. But here’s what I’ve learned (and what God keeps reminding me): He’s not late. He’s not early. He’s always right on time. Every season of waiting has a purpose. God uses those times to grow us, prepare us, and teach us to trust Him more deeply. His timing isn’t about meeting our demands—it’s about aligning our hearts with His plan. So, if you’re in a waiting season, don’t let stress steal your peace. Instead, lean into Him. Trust that He’s working, even when you can’t see it yet. Don’t rush something that’s meant to take time. I know waiting can feel hard, but remember—God’s timing is never wrong. He’s always on time, and when the door opens, you’ll see that His plan was worth the wait. “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” (Psalm 27:14) Take a breath. Trust. Keep walking with Him. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
