💘💝Try this Artist Tip 💡 out for Valentine’s Day… Gelli Arts® Artist Birgit Koopsen 👩🏻‍🎨: Did you know that you can create beautiful distressed textures on the gel plate using stencils and wax crayons? The 2 reasons why I love this technique are: 1. The texture has a lovely distressed feel 2. You can combine as many stencils together as you like and connect the different textures together seamlessly. 🎨Details: * I used acrylic paint, any brand will work. * The stencils I’m using are Gelli Arts. * I let the first layer dry before adding the next/pick up layer. * The paper I did the rubbing with is general copy paper & the pick up paper is a heavier copier paper. * I left the paper on the plate until everything was dry. * I used Crayola wax crayons but any wax crayons/oil based crayons will work! 📝Note: I am using stencils in this video but you can use whatever will create a texture when placed under a sheet of paper and rubbed with a wax crayon!
