my workout routine lately as a gym girl not in a gym phase 🥲 honestly i’m still showing up consistently but my mind is so elsewhere and that’s okay - i definitely go through phases with the gym where that’s my
#1 goal and other times it’s something i’m doing daily just because i know movement is good for my body. right now a week of workouts is looking like: • around 3 strength training days a week. i’ve been doing 1 heavier leg day & 2 full body full body dumbbell circuits per week & all 3 of these definitely aren’t as good as they were months ago • i walk on the treadmill every single day - sometimes this is more of a “workout” i.e. im turning the incline up and by the end im super sweaty. other days im just walking to get my steps in. it’s cold and im not taking bells on as many walks as i was when it was warm out (i take her to the dog park to run around and get all of her energy out once a day!). i love walking on the treadmill because i can listen to podcasts, watch youtube vids, get some work done. other days i walk for an hour in silence and its great hahahah • SOMETIMES ill go to a yoga or pilates class but i honestly haven’t been doing this yet in the new year. i’m sure in a few weeks ill get tired of this schedule and be more into the fitness classes again i think the biggest reason why ive been able to stay consistent in moving my body for years is because i do what feels good & don’t try to make myself do things i dont want to do :)
