What to eat in Japan, part 6!🍴🇯🇵 Continuing this series with more dishes I loved during my Japan trip last year. I am a big foodie and love trying new foods in different regions of the world. If you're heading to Japan soon, especially Hokkaido, hope this quick guide helps you out. I also included where to get these dishes based on where I went! 🇯🇵 Soup Curry: A Hokkaido specialty! This dish features a light, flavorful curry broth filled with slow-cooked meats and fresh, colorful vegetables. It’s customizable with spice levels and toppings. This was one of my favorite dishes during my visit to hokkaido and dream of eating it again 🍛🔥 📍Furanoya - 1-46 Yayoicho, Furano, Hokkaido 076-0018, Japan 🇯🇵 Hokkaido Ice Cream: Made with high-quality Hokkaido milk, this ice cream is famous for its ultra-creamy texture and rich, natural sweetness. While I was here, I couldn't believe how incredily good hokkaido ice cream is. I think about the ice cream a lot🍦✨ 📍Biei Farm Co., Ltd. - Japan, 〒071-0473 Hokkaido, Kamikawa District, Biei, Shinsei, 平和5235 🇯🇵 Kaiseki Dinner: A traditional multi-course Japanese meal that highlights the art of seasonal dining. What to eat in Japan, part 7!🍴🇯🇵 Sharing more foods from my Japan trip last year! Got to eat so many new foods that I never tried before and that’s what I love most about traveling. Hope you try one of these dishes on your next trip to Japan! Also sharing locations of where I ate these dishes shown in the video 🇯🇵 Motsunabe: A Kyushu comfort food made with beef or pork intestines simmered in a savory broth with cabbage, garlic, and chives. It’s hearty, flavorful, and perfect for colder months! 📍Maedaya Motsunabe Nakasu 🇯🇵 Hōtō Noodles: A Yamanashi specialty featuring thick, flat noodles in a rich miso-based soup with hearty vegetables like pumpkin, and mushrooms. It’s a warm and comforting dish that feels like a hug in a bowl. A must-try if you’re near Mt. The best meal I had in Japan 🇯🇵 One of my favorite things about traveling is trying new restaurants and cuisines. I was thrilled to discover @satologue, thanks to a friend's recommendation, on my most recent trip to Japan this past December! 🗺️✨ Satologue (さとローグ) is a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque town of Okutama 🏞️🍶. I loved how the restaurant was surrounded by waterfalls and nature, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The atmosphere was calm, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. Every dish they served was delicious and I can’t wait to visit again to try their other seasonal menus! During the tour, they also mentioned they’re building a small hotel set to open in the spring, so I’m definitely planning to check that out too! 📍Satologue (さとローグ) 💵 ¥5,500 ($30-$35 with current exchange rate) #Japan #Okutama #Satologue #JapanFood #whattoeatinjapan #Tokyo
