Homemade Cheesticks πŸ€πŸ–€ * 1 cup warm water, 80F-90F * 1 pack rapid rise yeast * 1 tbsp white granulated sugar * 1/2 tsp salt * 2-2 1/2 cups all purpose flour * 1 tbsp vegetable oil * Shredded mozzarella or Italian style cheese * Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional) Garlic Butter * 1 stick butter * 1/2 tbsp minced garlic * Parsley * Oregano Bake Temperature: 425F Bake Time: 17-20 minutes until golden brown 1. Heat your water, make sure the temperature of the water does not exceed 90F or your yeast will die. Like lukewarm bath water. Use a cooking thermometer to make sure. 2. Add packet of yeast and sugar. Mix and let bloom covered with a kitchen towel for 10 minutes in a warm area in kitchen. 3. While that is blooming, add 2 cups of your flour and salt to a bowl. Mix until combined. Set aside the 1/2 cup of flour for dusting and to have some ready if you need more. 4. Add your oil to your flour. Once your yeast has set for 10 minutes, add to dry ingredients. 5. Using a spatula or hand kneader, mix until a tacky dough forms. If it is too tacky, add a little bit of your reserved flour. 6. Flour your flat surface. Drop dough onto surface. 7. Add flour to your hands and on top of dough to keep it from sticking to your hands. 8. Knead for about 2-3 minutes until a dough ball forms. Let rest for 10 minutes. 9. While resting, line your baking sheet with parchment. 10. Preheat oven to 425F. 11. Melt down your garlic butter in the microwave. Add butter, minced garlic, parsley, and oregano to a microwave safe dish and melt down. 12. Take your dough ball and roll into a rectangle on your floured surface. Your rectangle should be 11”-12”. 13. Once roll out, add to parchment paper. 14. Brush 1/2 of your garlic butter all over dough. 15. Sprinkle cheese on top. Add some extra oregano and parsley on top. 16. Bake at 425F for 17-20 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted/browned. 17. Take out, cut and enjoy with some marinara sauce, your dripping sauce of choice, or just plain! These are so delicious and sooooo easy to make! 🀍 #cheesesticks #homemadecheesesticks #makefromscratch #zeetheintrovert

Easy Eggrolls at Home 🀍 * Egg roll wrappers * Water for edges * 1 bag tri color coleslaw mix * Soy sauce * Onion and garlic powder * Pepper * Oil for frying Oil Temperature: 350F Fry Time: 2-4 minutes until crispy and golden brown 1. Add your coleslaw mix to a saucepan. Season with pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix and place on medium heat. 2. Cook until cabbage is wilted and has shrunk a little bit. Be sure not to cook it too much or it will be mushy. Take off heat and let cool for a couple minutes. 3. Take your egg roll wrappers and rub water around the edges. 4. Add filling to wrapper, make sure the wrap is like a diamond facing towards you. You want the filling to be something closer to the edge when you fold and roll. 5. Roll corner over top of filling and tuck in. 6. Fold sides in and begin to roll, if you want to make sure your roll is secure, add a little more water while rolling. 7. Heat your oil to 350F. 8. Once heated drop your egg rolls in making sure to not overcrowd. 9. Fry for 3-4 minutes until crispy golden brown. 10. Take out of oil and drain on paper towels. 11. Serve with duck sauce or whatever sauce you prefer. 12. These egg rolls are so much better than takeout and are so easy to make… plus they taste WAYYYYY better! #eggrolls #eggrollsrecipe #EasyRecipes #zeetheintrovert
