Got scraps? Get building 🎄 I’ve made this project in several shapes and sizes in the past (do you remember the pumpkin and sunflowers?). But this snowy little tree might be my favorite version! Simply cut out a template (from a coloring book, magazine, or Google), trace it on a scrap board, cut, stain, glue and decorate. I added snow so I can keep it out all season, but how cute would it look with little wood balls or dowel slices stained in different colors to make Christmas ornaments? How would you dress yours up? Think personalized gifts aren't in the budget this season? #ad Think again. I made these personalized serving boards for $5 each including the vinyl, transfer tape and the wood! Here's how: I used @Cricut Design Space to design some monograms and personalizations, then cut them out on Smart Vinyl with my Cricut Joy Xtra. Then, I used Cricut Transfer tape to place these designs on my boards to use as a staining stencil. Then I stained, removed the stencil, and sealed.
