That’s right! 💡 Your cells naturally produce hydrogen peroxide as a by-product of metabolism. Kind of like how a car engine produces exhaust. 🚙💨 🔴But just like too much exhaust can be harmful, too much hydrogen peroxide can damage cells. 🚩🧬😨 Luckily, your body has its own clean-up crew! 🧹 Enzymes like oxidases help convert certain molecules into hydrogen peroxide, and catalases quickly break it down into water before it can cause harm. It’s a delicate balance that keeps your body running smoothly. 🎯‼️ Can you think of any real-life examples where things need to be broken down before they become harmful? Drop them in the comments! 👉🏾➡️
