Today’s ETOD is… The Workshop Arts Collaborative! This upcoming local creative hub will have rehearsal studios, commercial spaces, and flexible event and performance space for community gathering. The building for this project is over 100 years old and will be rehabilitated. Green materials and energy-efficient upgrades will be incorporated while still preserving the historic structure. The Workshop Arts Collaborative will be located at 3741 W Lawrence Ave in Albany Park (33rd Ward) near the Kimball Brown Line station as well as the #81 Lawrence and #82 Kimball-Homan bus routes. This ETOD was made possible in part with City funding through a Chicago Recovery Plan grant.
