2 taps cornstarch+ 2 tsp water , mixed together to make a cornstarch slurry. 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 12 oz Broccoli Florets 1 pound Ground Beef 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce(homemade or storebought) Jasmine rice, cooked, for serving garlic powder, s&p to taste Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside. Make the teriyaki sauce. Combine all ingredients together in skillet and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Pour into a bowl. Rinse the pan and return to heat. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add the broccoli and leave untouched for 2-3 minutes until slightly charred on one side. Flip the broccoli add a few tbsp of water, cover and steam for a few more minutes. Season with s&p to taste. Transfer to a bowl and set aside. In the same skillet, brown the beef, and season with garlic powder, s&p.. Once the beef is fully cooked add the teriyaki sauce and stir everything together. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and begins to stick to the beef. Add the broccoli back to the skillet. Turn off the heat and stir everything together.
