EVERY SINGLE CLIENT gets nervous system regulation work in my practice. Why? Your nervous system is the main controller in your ability to heal. If it is in survival mode, fight or flight, stressed, ie. sympathetic dominance, you can never fully heal. In this dysregulated state, you will always have increased tissue tension, poor fluid flow, increased inflammation, high reactivity to pain, poor immune response, poor digestion, poor stress tolerance, your body will always feel under attack. Along with teaching daily self regulation practices, this technique is one of many manual techniques I utilize to regulate the nervous system via the vagus nerve to help clients maintain a regulated and resilient nervous system in order to achieve their healing and performance goals.
