Ever heard of CAVA? It’s the newish kid on the block.  My cousin put me on to CAVA a few months ago. He always speaks about them; in his mind, it is the best thing since sliced bread, and I can see 👁️ 👁️ why.  Eating out without worrying about a health condition is easy, but if you have diabetes or prediabetes, you need to be on your P’s and Q’s.  Here are my top 4 reasons why I’m a fan of Cava if you are living with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes: ☀️ Antioxidants- antioxidants from plants provide significant protection against diabetes. For me, it’s sides of hummus, roasted eggplant 🍆 , and harissa 🤤. ☀️ Fiber- Bay Bay, at this point, you should know how I feel about fiber. Gut 🦠 health. Satiety. Blood Sugar Balance. Heart Health. Weight Management. Need I say more?  ☀️ Plant-based 🌱 options- there’s something for everyone. More and more people want meatless options, and that falafel may have your name on it.  ☀️ Protein-protein + fiber are needed for better blood sugar balance.
