Here are some simple steps to take toward healing.👇 If you’re dealing with pain, stress, obesity, fatigue, a disease, or some other physical condition, please listen. In no way do I aim to diminish what you’re going through, but I want you to know how healing works from a physical perspective. God designed our bodies to heal when provided with what they need to do it. 1. Wholesome Nutrition.🥝 This means being intentional with what you put into the body you are asking God to heal. Treat nutrition like medication as Hippocrates said. Plan your meals, cook your own food, and stick to the plan 2. Move often. 🚴♂️ Movement is medicine. Regardless of what your body or mind is going through, movement is a helpful tool. You just need to find what you CAN do and do that as often as possible. Reach out to me if you need help with this. 3. Stress management and Sleep.😌 These two go hand in hand but go beyond bedtime. The time you take to breathe, assess your feelings, think about what you’re thinking about, and adhere to Gods instructions is time well spent. This also travels into the realm of nutrition. Not eating enough for your body makes it hard for you to heal. Your body needs macro and micronutrients to do what God designed it to do. 4. Stay hydrated.🚰 It’s a simple task but it may seem difficult for you. Please make it a priority. Your body struggles when you’re dehydrated. Pain is worse, brain function is weakened, performance decreases. Your healing is dependent on your hydration as well.
