#CapCut Fideo con Carne y Papas with Ground Bison - Perfect Texas Freeze Option - Full Recipe Below 🍲 Yall, I have been craving this for weeks now, and with Texas about to shut down for this cold snap, I figured let's give it a go. Never made this before, so it's not traditional... 🍲 Ingredients • 3 tbsps Avocado or Olive oil • 7 oz fideo pasta aka vermicelli or broken spaghetti • 1 lb Ground Bison @wildforkfoods • ½ c onion, diced • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 3 small russet potatoes, peeled and diced • 1 can diced tomatoes & chiles • 1 can enchilada sauce (or tomato sauce • 4½ c broth or water (I used @knorr shrimp & beef broth) • 1 tsp Mexican oregano • 2 tbsp @heathrilesbbq Beef Rub • 2 tbsp cumin • 2 tbsp salt • 1 tbsp Chile power • 4 Sprigs of fresh Cilantro Directions • Preheat a large pot at medium heat. Add the ground bison or beef. Cook until nicely browned and removed • Add the onions and diced potatoes and sauté for 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt & pepper to taste. Then add garlic and sauté for another 2 min • Add fideo pasta. Heat to medium heat. Stiring often, until pasta is mostly toasted (not all needs to be toasted) • Add can of tomatoes, enchilada sauce, broth, and cover to cook for 15 min over medium heat • Add in a few sprigs of cilantro. Stir gently and set to simmer for 3-5 minutes • Serve right away. Garnish and serve with warm corn tortillas @wildforktexas
