Instead of date nights always just being “nights out,” try adding active date nights onto your calendar… After dating for over 3.5 years, we’ve grown a bit tired/bored of your typical “date night” (drinks and dinner). It wasn’t as special anymore and became a bit repetitive. So in the past year, we’ve found the solution by working towards our fitness goals together as a part of our date night! For example, we not run together to train for our marathon 3x a week, play tennis 1x a week, and have a proper date night every other week. This is what we found is the perfect balance for us to work towards our goals and feel productive, all while making those nights out feel that much more special. It’s also what made us find new hobbies like tennis that genuinely make us excited to practice that we would never have otherwise. So remember, your date nights and active date nights are just as important 💙
