Perfect for my dips✨ full recipe 👇🏻 Ingredients -1 gallon of milk -4T plain Greek yogurt with live and active cultures Method: *this can be done on your instant pot or on your stove top, I’m going to explain both* 1. Add your milk to your pot or instant pot For IP: press your yogurt button until it says boil and then press start For stove top: heat your milk on the stove top  Heat the milk until it reaches 180F  2. Remove your insert from your instant pot or your pot from the burner, allow to cool until the temperature reaches 115F 3. Add your yogurt to a bowl and take 1 c of your heated and cooled milk and add it to the bowl as well, mix until combined then add back into your pot. Stir everything for about 30 seconds. 4. Now you’re going to let your yogurt ferment. IP: place your insert back into your instant pot and press the yogurt button until it shows an 8:00, I decided to ferment mine for 9 hours so I increased the time to that. Press start and place the lid on your instant pot. Stovetop: cover your pot, wrap it in towels to keep it warm, and place it in your oven, I’ve heard it’s best to turn the oven light on when using this method but others say not to.  At the end of your 9 hours, you’ll have plain yogurt. You can strain it using a yogurt strainer or you can strain it using a bowl, fine mesh strainer, and a piece of cheese cloth. Pistachio White Chocolate Cookies 🤤 Ingredients:   Cookie dough 1 stick unsalted butter 113g, room temperature ½ cup granulated sugar 100g 1 egg 50g, room temperature 2 tsp vanilla extract ½ tsp almond extract  ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp kosher salt 1 cup ground pistachio 2 cups all purpose flour  1/4 cup pistachio paste White Chocolate Chips (measure with your heart) Chopped pistachios for garnish Flaky salt for garnish  Method: - Ground your pistachios and sift through periodically to avoid turning it into a pasty consistency. Set aside. - Prep your pistachio paste. (Recipe to follow!) store bought is also fine! - Cream butter and sugar - Mix in egg and extracts - Mix in baking soda, salt, and ground pistachios before pouring in the flour. - Add pistachio paste and white chocolate chips and mix until just incorporated. - Scoop into baking sheet lined with parchment paper and top with more pistachio paste and pistachios - Bake at 350° for 12 min - Sprinkle flaky sea salt and let cool! #fdjt #cutewinterboots #homemade #cookietok #pistachiocookies #foodfromscratch
Homemade sourdough bagels >>> Ingredients: 100g active starter 250g warm water 10g salt 30g white sugar 500g bread flour Method: - combine and knead for 10 min (knead by hand or stand mixer) - place in a bowl, cover, and leave on the counter overnight - in the morning, divide into 6 equal sections - roll each section out and gently poke a hole in the middle - cover with a towel and let rest on the counter for 1-2hours - drop the bagels in boiling water (about 30 min each side) - brush egg wash and add toppings - bake at 400° for 25 min #sourdough #sourdoughbagels #homemade #homemadebagels #foodfromscratch

High protein French onion dip 🧅  Ingredients: -1 onion, diced -1-2 tbsp butter -2ish cups plain Greek yogurt (full fat is best) -1/4-1/2 cup avocado oil mayo -season to taste with: salt (I love the touch that herbamare adds), pepper, and garlic powder  Method: 1. Caramelize your diced onion in a pan with your butter. Allow to cool down once caramelized 2. Combine the rest of your ingredients in a a bowl with your onions and mix Store in the refrigerator for 5-7 days! I do make another version often with sourdough discard I can post as well. full recipe below to easily screenshot! 🤎 In mixing bowl combine: 3/4 cup of ap flour  1/2 tsp salt 3 tbsp butter  6oz or 1 cup cheese 1-2 tbsp water mix together until everything is well incorporated and crumbly.  knead with your hands to form into a dough, add to piece of plastic wrap. flatten and form to a square like shape. wrap and set in fridge for 30 minutes. split in two and add to floured parchment papers. roll out as thing as possible and cut into squares.  brush with with oil and create a whole in the middle of each piece.  sprinkle with sea salt and bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes until cripsy and hard. eat the whole bowl in one night 😝 #homemadefood #homemadecheeseitz #cheezits #cheezitcrackers #homemakertiktok #homemadekitchenrestock #foodfromscratch #kidssnacks #homemadesnacks #snacksfromscratch #crunchymom #healthykidssnacks
Sourdough discard banana bread 🍌  Ingredients: 1.5 cup AP flour 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 5 overripe bananas 2 eggs 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 stick butter 1 tsp vanilla extract  1/2 cup sourdough discard Method: 1. Mix all dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately before combining. 2. Add inclusions as preferred after all ingredients are well incorporated. Do not over mix 3. Pour into greased loaf pan  4. Team noodle or team potato? Also can we just have a moment for the duck quacks 🦆🪿they got a nice treat when I cleaned out my depression fridge. Full recipe: for a HUGE batch of soup 1 whole chicken 2 qts water Paprika Salt 3ish lbs potatoes (I did 6 red and yellow potatoes), chopped 1 onion, diced 1 head of garlic, minced 3-6 carrots depending on the size, diced 1 whole head celery, diced 5 sprigs rosemary 8sprigs thyme Method: 1. Cook your whole chicken and create your broth. I use my instant pot to do this. I cook the whole chicken from frozen at 15 minutes per pound. Once it’s finished I remove the chicken from the instant pot and strain off my broth. 2. Sauté your onions and garlic. Use a little bit of your broth to deglaze your pot. Then add the rest of your ingredients to your pot including your deboned chicken and broth. Be sure to save your bones for a batch of broth! Instead of chopping my herbs, I chose to tie them up using butchers twine and place them whole in my soup, removing after I cooked, and it turned out incredible.  3. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes, releasing the pressure immediately when done 4.
