I know some folks here are tired of this message and some try to misread it as me saying you should just stay locked in your house - which is NOT what it says. So please read carefully, as I have seen too many COVID patients hospitalized just in the past week, but also I know this is a time for friends and family. If you're getting together with people for the holiday, consider
#testing for COVID-19 beforehand. If you are feeling cold symptoms or flu symptoms or
#gastrointestinal #symptoms, then definitely test yourself. If you are sick, find a way to celebrate that doesn't expose your loved ones, especially elderly,
#immunocompromised, or small children.
#Ventilate the house, wear a
#mask, eat at a distance from other folks. It sucks, but it's better than spreading your
#germs to family and friends. Remember, even mild infections can lead to long COVID and other consequences. Between
#COVID-19,
#influenza, and
#RSV, people are still getting sick and ending up in the
#hospital, don't be one of them.
