Bierocks- The Ultimate German Appetizer 🔥 Beirocks *Makes 16 bierocks Ingredients: 2 pillsbury pizza dough packages 1/2 yellow onion diced 1# ground beef 8 to 10 oz Gruyère cheese Salt Pepper Garlic powder Cayenne 1 egg 1 tablespoon milk Sesame seed blend 1 can sauerkraut (14.5oz) Method- Sauté your onions for about 8 minutes, add your beef and break it up. Add salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne and cook until beef is cooked through. Taste for salt. Open your pizza dough and on a floured surface, press it down so it’s even and cut into 8 squares. Add a bit of Gruyère on the bottom, meat and sauerkraut mix and more cheese and then fold each flap over and pinch well so it doesn’t open while it’s cooking. Repeat the process with the rest and then line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spray with olive oil and arrange the bierocks on them. Beat the egg and milk and brush each one and then sprinkle sesame seeds and a pinch of salt and bake on 325 for 25 mins.
