Recently I’ve gotten a few hate comments saying I look now like a before not an after. At first I was offended but quickly shifted my mind to where I was 4 years ago and how miserable I felt. I then began to feel proud and accomplished because not only did I lose 110 pounds, I’ve been able to keep those pounds off for almost 4 years and based on my track record this is a huge accomplishment and I’m super proud of myself! People leave comments like this because they are unhappy with themselves. I’m not going to allow them to hold me back from helping and supporting other people who are looking to feel better. I refuse to let these comments define who I am and anyone out there who has been size shamed… listen up. Yes it’s important to be healthy and only you and your doctor get to decide that. How much body fat you have, your age, your bra size, your waist circumference, or any other number does not define you. We’re led to believe from a young age that how we look is overwhelmingly important. “Work hard to change the appearance of your body until you get closer to society’s ideals and what you weigh, what size jeans you wear, and other numbers are vital to your self-esteem and value as a human being” is the message entering our ears and eyes every single day. WRONG It is time for change!! Can you imagine … what would happen if we used health and fitness (e.g., eating well in a simple way and moving frequently in ways we enjoy) as a tool to become the best version of ourselves? What if we did these things to improve our quality of life and discover the amazing things our bodies can do? What would happen if we valued ourselves by what we do in our everyday lives, strive to do a bit better each day, and encourage others to do the same? #selfworth #weightdoesntdefineyou #transformation #gettinghealthy

officially 50 lbs down!! 2024 was a huge year for my health!! I started having some health complications from being overweight, and I seized control of it. I changed a lot about my diet, tried to be active again, and cut out toxic products completely. I’m so excited to look back and see how far I’ve come! I’m so close to my goal💕 Thank you Lord for the motivation I needed to finally push myself! #weightlossprogress #weightlosstransformations #weightlossjourney #newyearsresolution #gettinghealthy #sahmlife

I will never understand why my insurance will cover weight loss surgery but not weight loss medications. It makes no sense at all. Healthcare in America needs a total revamp. Here’s to hoping our appeal goes through and I’m able to get this medication. 🤞🏼 #findingmyselfagain #rebrand #MomsofTikTok #momlife #semaglutide #glp1forweightloss #momsgettinghealthy #healthyeating #healthyliving #gettinghealthy #weightloss #healthjourney
OH NO THE FAT GIRL IS EATING MCDONALDS! That’s what the voice inside my head is saying but we’re trying to form a HEALTHY relationship with food and that means honoring a craving. Not every craving and not every time. But today I wanted McDonald’s so we got McDonald’s. I know some people go cold turkey no fast food and that’s great. The shift from fast food for almost every single meal to once every 2-3 weeks is HUGE for me and progress for sure, so I’m proud of me. 🙌🏼 #MomsofTikTok #findingmyselfagain #rebrand #momlife #semaglutide #glp1forweightloss #momsgettinghealthy #healthyeating #healthyliving #gettinghealthy #weightloss #postpartumhealthjourney #losingweight

Ending the year with finally liking my body enough to take full body pics. Around 2022 I got really self conscious with my body and stopped taking pictures of it, but being over 65lbs down I am finally feeling confident again! Not to mention I have so much more energy now! #weightloss #weightlossmotivation #weightlossjouney #gettinghealthy #lifestylechange #fyp
