I have been so so blessed to Gift a good amount of bibles to people’s lives, and friends it’s because I have been loud in my testimony and confident in his word. I use to be scared and embarrassed to speak about God and the Bible, in fear of who I would offend.. who would make fun of me.. even who I would lose as a “friend”. Ive had people judge me, talk about me, and make fun of me. But what I’ve learned is God chooses to work through imperfect people, utilizing their flaws and vulnerabilities to achieve his purposes. He doesn’t just rely solely on those who are flawless or sinless! God can use anyone, even those with shortcomings, to bring about good in the world. This is what SOCIETY teaches. And how absolutely damaging is it to teach that and think that? Sooooo damaging to one’s mind, heart, and soul. The Lord teaches no one person’s sin is greater than another. When you judge another or their sins you condemn yourself. That when we are self richeous, we ultimately destroy ourselves. When we are self richeous, we will never know the richeousness of God. To look inwardly at all of your own sins and your own life before judging others. To stay humble. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. …. And all of this and more is to be taken literally. When we sit in our own self richeousness, we leave no room for God to work in our lives or in our hearts and minds. Someday physically we will not be here, which leaves the question… can you in confidence stand before the Lord and ask to enter his Kingdom? Will that self richeousness and overly confident arrogant way of thinking get you past this life but into the next most glorious kingdom of heaven? I’ve had to learn a lot in my life, and am STILL learning who I want to be when God calls me home. I will continue to make mistakes, learn every day, and take in what the Lord is teaching me. I didn’t find God so that I could be popular, famous, or better than anyone else. I don’t post to be self richeous, a wannabe Christian, or to feel better about myself. I post because I am a sinner. I know what’s it’s like to hit rock bottom. I am imperfect and I want everyone to see what the Lord can do with imperfect people. God found me when I was my most broken self and called out to me. I spent my whole life being wrong without him, and somehow he found me. The Lord sought me out and chose me. AND NOW…I AM STILL NEVER RIGHT, but I have the most amazing guidance from the Lord and every day my father is still teaching me. We will NEVER know it all and we easily shift blame and make excuses for where we are in our lives as adults thinking we do. What I’ve learned as an ADULT is… if we sit in our own self richeousness and arrogance always thinking we are right, it is comfortable BUT we will never grow. It takes a willing and obedient heart, the strength to take accountability, and the want to change and transform your mind, heart and soul. Let’s talk prayer! Every single morning I pray with my babies and over my babies. When they leave for the day, I continue to pray for them! I pray for them every chance I get and I pray over our household, rooms, and everything in our lives! Many believe in burning sage or oil because something tangible gives people comfort.. but I firmly believe my love for the Lord and my faith is enough to conquer any enemy. Hebrews 11:1 states, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths” Jeremiah 17:7-8: "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him” 2 Corinthians 5:6-8: “We walk by faith, not by sight” I will continue to pray over my loved ones and trusting in the Lord with all of my heart, mind, and soul. That doesn’t mean we won’t experience bad things in our lives and we are spared of hardships and turmoil, BUT I trust that some things are meant to refine me and grow my faith and that Jesus my Lord and savior is walking with me. #creatorsearchinsights This journey has been so humbling to say the least. It has not been easy changing my mindset and leaning into the Lord. To go from being a person who has to be in control of everything and a HUGE people pleaser who is anxiety ridden by the worlds opinions & others views of me, to a person who drops to her knees and gives it all to God has been HARD. I have had to learn to let go and let God. Many a times I wanted to give up, but God convicted my heart. I then realized the devil wanted to keep me in a fearful, anxiety ridden state because as long as I felt mentally unwell and broken by the world, I couldn’t fully trust in the Lord and I wouldn’t see the life he had planned for me. But my fear doesn’t stand a chance when I stand in his love!! After a lot of time and practice and letting go of my ideas of what I thought my life should look like, I have grown my faith and fully trust in the Lord to work through me and change me and fight my battles. I won’t say it is was or even is easy, but it is worth it to give it all to the Lord! Jesus saves. #onthisday The greatest Papa there ever was passed yesterday 2 years ago. I didn’t understand it, and I didn’t understand why he had to pass the way he did. But at this point I had Jesus in my life and I found comfort in him. My entire life since I was little was tainted by death. Witnessing the death of babies, children, etc. I believe God uses me to reach many and although my testimony isnt easy, he was always with me. Death is NEVER easy and the circumstances can be very painful, but my faith and trust in The Lord will always carry me through.
