This is part 7 in my series with @GoodCook as one of their ambassadors - and their healthy cookware all-in-one pan is a GREAT tool if you want something in your kitchen that is multipurpose - the steamer basket part is so cool!! It’s also super easy to wash, and its non-stick surface is free of PFAS, PFOA, and PTFE (forever chemicals)! Here are a few other ideas for big kid picky eaters: 1) Put them in charge of part of the grocery list. Ask them to pick a new produce item from the store and make a plan for how to use it. 2) I love the idea of hosting a chopped style competition. It can be as complex or simple as works for your family. Even a DIY charcuterie board competition would be so fun. 3) Guessing games or blinded taste testing (but NEVER require a child to participate in something like this). Can you guess your favorite brand of mac and cheese? Can you differentiate between a gala apple and a fuji apple? 4) Put your child in charge of 1 meal per week, giving supports where needed to be successful in contributing to the family meal plan. 5) Still be silly! How many blueberries can you stack on top of each other (my daughter got 5 the other day). Move a cucumber from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands. Silly straws for soups. You’re never too old to have fun with food. 6) Have lots of fruits and veggies prepped and ready for snacking. 💬 What are strategies that you use with your big kid picky eaters? #healthyrelationshipwithfood #intuitiveeating #pickyeater #fussyeater #adhdkids #adhdnutrition #gentleparenting #respectfulparenting #cyclebreaker #GoodCookAmbassador #ItsAGoodCookThing #ad
