Fitness finally clicked for me when I stopped asking, “Will this make me smaller? Will I lose weight and look a certain way?” and started asking, “How does this make me feel?” Movement became about joy, strength, and connection—not punishment or shrinking. I found a love for Olympic weightlifting and boxing (nothing feels better than a strong punch or a solid lift!), but I’ve also fallen in love with gentler, yet still challenging, movements like Pilates. It’s all about balance and finding what makes me feel strong, empowered, and grounded. Just like with clothes, there will always be trends in fitness (hello, hot girl pilates, anyone?). But trends don’t matter as much as what feels good to you. You get to decide what you enjoy and leave behind what doesn’t serve you. When I started focusing on how movement supported my mental health, energy, and confidence, everything changed. The pressure to work out for looks? Gone. The freedom to move for me? Game-changer. This topic is a hot one within my Confidence Coaching program, joyful movement is a beautiful space to be in and of that’s a topic of conversation you’d love to have and find… link is in my bio 🔗 I have a few spots open!
