Just in time ๐ This corn base drink is so delicious, not to be confused with Atole, another corn base drink that I will share soon. - piloncillo is raw sugar cane for those asking - you can adjust your amount of sugar, I don't like things super sweet so I added two small piloncillo vs the big one I showed. - the masa flour I used is from @masienda I have a code if you want it Recipe: What you'll need: 2.5 cups of milk 2 cups water 2 TBS vanilla extract piloncillo 2 cinnamon sticks 1 can of evaporated milk by @carnationmilks 1/2 cups corn masa by @masienda 3 whole cloves 1 whole Mexican chocolate tablet I have @chocolateibarra but can use @abuelitas Bring water, whole cloves, piloncillo, cinnamon sticks and Mexican hot chocolate tablet to a simmer until fully dissolved and set a side. In another pan toast your masa but don't burn. Once your masa is toasted add everything to the blender except cinnamon sticks and blend well. I used a molinillo to create some foam but you can skip that. It's normal for it to be thick, that's the point ๐๐ enjoy warm with tamales.
