How a Broom can totally change your skating 🧹 Have you ever tried skating with a broom? It’s not just fun—it’s practical, too! Use it to stop, clear rocks and debris, or even as a balance tool to help improve your skills. Want to make practice more exciting? Turn it into an obstacle to jump or step over. And let’s be honest, pretending to fly like a witch? That’s just a bonus! ✨ Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, this broom trick is a total game-changer for your skating sessions. Try it out and let me know how it works for you! 💬 #Rollerblading #SkatingTips #SkatingHack #LearnToSkate #RollerSkating #SkatingLife #BroomSkating #Rollerblader 🎥 @Airdolphin
Replying to @Kelly Craig Using your arms as a skater is super important and here is why! You SHOULD use your arms to help you safely fall in skating. Obviously most falls are not planned and can catch you by surprise. It is very important to make sure you understand the best and safest way to catch yourself to avoid injuries as much as possible. As someone that has actually gone through the proper training process I am to tell you that you should use your arms to help assist you when falling. Purposely avoiding using your arms or putting hands in your pockets will put you at a much higher risk for injuries. Especially head injuries! Using your arms is essential for balance, jumping, spinning, and even falling. You do want to avoid locking your elbows or trying to catch yourself with the palms of your hands. That can lead to injury or a lasting uncomfortable pain. If you are worried about wrist injuries you can purchase special skating gloves or even wrist guards #figureskatingtiktok #iceskatingtiktok #didyouknow #learntoskate #iceskatingbeginner #skatingtutorials
How to Broom Stop on Inline Skates ✨🪄✋ Stopping on skates doesn’t have to be scary! The broom stop is a creative and fun way to slow down or come to a complete stop while skating. It’s perfect for beginners who want an extra layer of safety and control. Plus it’s super easy to practice! Just grab a broom and follow along. This technique is also great for clearing obstacles or even pretending you’re flying. Try it out and let me know how it goes! #RollerSkatingTips #LearnToSkate #BeginnerSkater #BroomStop #SkatingMadeEasy 🎥 @Airdolphin

I’ve never recorded myself ice skating before and I am feeling humbled to the nth degree 🤣 as someone who is used to picking up on stiff so easily, having a hobby that I have to struggle my way through, and face my fears every single time I’m on the icd, is SOOO good for me. You’re not going to be the best at everything, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. 🫶🏼 #beginnericeskater #learntoskate
Replying to @themachomom 🧿⛸️✨ How to do backward stroking! Backward stroking is a combination of one foot glides and marches going backwards. This will prepare you for edges on the line and backward power stroking that will come up later. For this element you want to transfer your weight side to side while pushing into your knees. Keep your free leg slightly in front. Don’t forget to use your backward inside edge when foing these! #skating #tutorial #IceSkating #learntoskate #backwardskating #beginner #tipsandtricks #beginnerskater #skatingskills #sports
I rarely get to watch her practices and lessons since I’m working or on the other rink with Teddy’s hockey team. Im so proud of her and how far she’s come in 2 years of ice skating. Thank you Megan for basically living at Chilled Ponds Ice Sports Complex with both our kids all week, Coach Cassie, and everyone else that works with Madison at Tidewater Skating Academy. @U.S. Figure Skating #capCut #figureskater #figureskatingtiktok #usfigureskating #learntoskate #tidewaterskatingacademy #IceSkating #iceskater #iceskate #christmas #alliwantforchristmas #mytwofrontteeth #fyp #foryourpage #2024
