glute gains in the last 2 years ➡️👀 this is what I’ve changed to grow the 🍑  I would always blame genetics & that I was more quad dominate.. which is true to an extent but if one way isn’t working — move different and stop making excuses 😅  1️⃣ EATING MORE. Simple but not always the case.. you could be not fueling enough or not fueling properly. If you don’t have this down.. it’ll be hard to see the gains you want. 2️⃣ MIND MUSCLE CONNECTION. I used to swing heavy a** hip thrusts for no good reason besides to boost my ego. I go lighter now (still pushing the same intensity) and slower with each rep. Your quads or hamstrings WILL take over if you’re swinging up weight without proper control.  3️⃣ FOLLOWING A PLAN/PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD. I’ve been religiously following the Monthly Build program & getting better every week. New workouts every 4 weeks, new split every 8-12 weeks.  4️⃣ MOVEMENTS THAT WORK FOR ME. I’ve had 3 knee surgeries and some exercises just don’t feel good at all no matter what. I stick to the basics and my “go-to” movements, get stronger with them and don’t overcomplicate it!  🍑🍑🍑 #glutegains #gluteday #gluteworkout #legday #legdayroutine
